Last year, I had hopes that we would be able to go skiing on the week before Christmas. Then Ian got sick. This year, no one is sick, and our cold snap has broken. It is a balmy 1 degree out there, and only a couple degrees below freezing at Nakiska.
So we went today, with new skisย and brand-new season passes to break in. The Gold and Olympic chairs weren’t open, and neither was the tube park, but we only used the magic carpet and the Bronze Chair anyways.
We had a good time. No one really crashed (I fell on my butt at really low speed, but I’ve got padding there!) and the snow and weather were perfect. ย It was the first day we’ve been on a weekday, and the crowds were much thinner. There were no lineups at the chair lift.
Even Miranda cracked a smile. ๐
Ohhhhh!!! Love it,๐โท๐ looks like you had a great day! We loved the videos, Simon๐
Glad you liked them! I got an app from Google called “Motion Stills” (https://research.googleblog.com/2016/06/motion-stills-create-beautiful-gifs.html) and I can turn my Live Photos into GIFs or movies. I think I’ll be posting more of them in the future. Hope you don’t mind the extra time it takes to load my page.
I have videos on my iPad that I would like to edit. Can I transfer them to app to do this?
This app is specifically for “Live Photos” which was something that Apple introduced on the iPhone 6s, and to my knowledge is only on that and newer iOS devices: iPhone7, iPad Pro 9.7 and 12.9.
That’s not to say that there isn’t a solution. If I spot one, I’ll let you know.
Enjoy them very much, keep it up.
