Dad Brought Snow With Him

All I’m saying is that before Dad arrived, it was plus 4 and the snow had almost all gone. Then yesterday morning it started snowing, and it hasn’t let up since. ๐ŸŒจ

Yesterday, on the 23rd, Dad wanted to go to a mall with a Purdy’s Chocolates in it. It had started snowing about eight that morning and was starting to accumulate, so he, the kids and Iย went to the North Hill Centreย on the C-Train. We walked in the light snow up to the station, and rode to Lion’s Park. North Hill Centre has a decent games & puzzles store in it, and we browsed through there, then we had some lunch in the food court.

Afterwards, instead of heading straight home, we took the train downtown. Dad got to see Ian’s favourite buildings, before we got back on the train and headed back. Dad timed it, and it was 26 minutes from downtown to Tuscany Station. He had fun and enjoyed his train ride.

We spent the rest of the day around the house, until we all got into the Tiguan and went to Mittillini’s for supper. We made it there and back without too much drama, but there was about four inches of snow by that point.

A Snowy Evening

We watched a Muppet Christmas Carol after dinner.

Apparently, it continued snowing in the night, because there was a lot out there this morning. Dad had fun taking picture of everybody else shovelling snow. ๐Ÿ™‚
