The weather decided that we’d had enough deep freeze and relented. Between the cycling-worthy weather in the first part of December and the frigid temperatures from the 24th onwards, we hadn’t been to Nakiska at all this winter.
Today it was about -1, and the snow conditions were perfect. Even the crowds weren’t too thick: maybe a lot of people were back to work today. Tammy’s teaching this evening, but that didn’t stop us from making the most of a gorgeous day.
We didn’t stay too long, because Tammy wanted to be coherent at the college tonight, but it was fun.
We even saw some mountain goats along the highway on the way home.
