Well, I’m home for a short stopover to get clean and feed the cats. We had a baby boy this morning at 8:40 am, nine pounds, twelve ounces. He was delivered by C-section because Tammy’s waters broke (as reported) and she was showing no signs of going into labour. It was a long night at the hospital, constantly waiting for our turn. There were tons of babies being delivered, and since we weren’t in distress, our priority was somewhat lower.

More information later. (No, we have not settled on a name for him yet)

Dang… Steph beat me to the posting! 😛 No worries. Thanks for putting the pictures up! 🙂

Update

First off, we have chosen the name for our new baby boy: Ian. We are almost settled on the middle name. We’ll probably finalize it tomorrow. 🙂

Also, here are some pictures that I took over the course of the activities. Due to the need to head home to shower and give the cat his insulin (among other excuses) these aren’t as complete as I’d like. Please send me photos, Steph and Colin!

  1. Congratulations to all, glad to hear that everyone is in good health. Red hair a real through back:)

  2. Rock on. Congrats to the new parents and to MIranda. I’m happy to see Tammy doing well after so much stress. Good luck and best wishes with your new son!

  3. Thanks for the good wishes, guys! Everybody is continuing to do fine, for which I am eternally grateful. I’m getting a taste of what Tammy’s life is like, looking after Miranda plus the 1,001 other things that need to happen in order to make a household run smoothly. 😉

We have settled on a full name for our new son: Ian David.

    It’s a good name, I think. (L)
