It’s a dark and rainy December 24th morning. The sort of morning where you pull up the blind and the room doesn’t really get any lighter. I think Santa’s going to need to wear a slicker and Armour-All the reindeer.
Pretty much everything is in line for tomorrow. All the wrapping is done. Tammy wants to do some baking today, and Miranda wants to play some games. We watched It’s a Wonderful Life last night, and we will watch A Christmas Carol tonight. We even managed to take some family photos on Tuesday.
Ian was being a real pain when we were taking these. I tried for a long time to get him to smile for the camera, without success. In the end, Tammy suggested changing gears and doing the family photo. It turned out that Ian got a chuckle from the timer on the camera: “beep… beep… beep… beep beep beep beep beep click” and that was the key to get a smile out of them both at the same time.
