Today was cutting and installing the trim, painting the ledges, general touching up things missed in our bonus room. The only thing left is putting blinds in the window. Today Simon decided to do the cutting right in the room to reduce travel time and possible dings to the new paint. It’s a good thing too because the number of times he had to measure, cut, fit, cut would’ve translated into umpteen trips up and down the stairs to and fro the garage. I can’t imagine what state he would’ve been in at the end of that day. 🙂 Tomorrow he’ll cut and fit the baseboards in the hallway and then we’ll be able to move everything back into place. There’s even talk of a window bench in the future. 💚
