My Christmas Party

A few weeks ago, I was disappointed: I was asked to travel to Ontario to do a two-day architecture workshop. It fell on the same day at the Esri Calgary Christmas Party, which I was looking forward to attending with Tammy. I made the trip, and when I got back, my boss Brian gave me a note authorizing me to take Tammy out for a dinner on Esri’s tab in lieu.

So tonight was the night. We got ourselves looking nice. Tammy got a new hairdo: short and sassy.  🙂

We went to the Sky 360, the rotating restaurant at the Calgary Tower. Tammy made a reservation for 6:00, and we took the C-Train downtown. We went one extra stop, so that we could walk past the Olympic Plaza.

The night was clear for viewing, with just a dusting of snow falling. Tammy and I had great views.

Our dinner was excellent. Tammy had bison, while I had the pork chop.
