It’s been frigid and snowy this week in Calgary, but the weather forecast said that today’s temperature was supposed to pop up. So we took a chance and headed to Nakiska this morning. On the way there, it was cold, and snow was blowing across the highway. We had bundled up for the worst, and it was looking like we were going to need every layer.
But right on cue, the day turned beautiful.
I skiied with Ian: three runs down the Bronze chair runs, and one down the Silver.
Miranda and Tammy stuck together for the most part. They skied on the Bronze chair runs for the morning.
And of course, it’s Mom’s birthday today. We had a nice FaceTime call with her when we got back. Everybody got to wish her a happy birthday. Thanks Stephanie for having your phone with you!  😉
