A Walk Down The Coulee

Today’s major events were having a Skype chat with Colin and Carol, going to Bow Cycle and taking a family walk down the 12 Mile Coulee (also known as “The Ravine”). At Bow Cycle, Tammy got some things that she needed, like new tires, a light, bright jacket, and UV arm protectors, while I picked up some of the things that I will need when I am leading out the Bow Cyclists this season: a CO2 tire inflator and cartridges, tubes, a multi-tool, etc.

The 12 Mile Coulee walk was a great excuse to get outside. It was lovely today: 20 degrees and sunny. We walked from our house, down and across Tuscany Boulevard, and then down into the ravine. We walked along the creek at the bottom, getting out of the way of mountain bikers and runners with their dogs. Then, we came back along the multi-use pathway that runs along the west rim of the ravine, for a total of 4.5 miles. I carried Ian for part of the way back. I won’t be able to do that much longer. 🙂
