Labour Day

School starts tomorrow. I’m back to work and off to Regina tomorrow. It’s the end of the summer and time to face the autumn. I’m really glad that we got the deck finished this week. I think that would have bugged me all winter otherwise. Now Tammy and I have started talking about painting the living room before the weather really turns and we can’t have the windows open.

We’ve discussed the kids’ orthodontic needs. The higher priority one is Ian: he needs to get space in his mouth so that his adult teeth can come in and his crossbite can get fixed. Miranda’s braces we will postpone until January. But the fact is we’re going to be financially constrained for a little while. No smart trainerย for us this winter. ๐Ÿ™‚

It was a cool morning at five degrees, but the afternoon shaped up, and Tammy and I went for a nice bike ride together.

  1. Hope Miranda and Ian enjoyed the first day of school. The kids on Pender were in school for two hours today I can’t believe we paid for the school bus๐Ÿšand driver etc. for two hours.
