And the living room is done

Today was putting the colour on the accent wall, finishing the second coat of clay beige, and then the second coat on the accent wall.

We didn’t get started until about 1:30 though. Despite the weather, I went down to Bow Cycle just in case anyone showed up. And wouldn’t you know it: some hard core guys did. First it was Peter, then Kevin, and Brett. Then Kurt came out of the store, took a look at us and said “Are you kidding me?” and then went back in to put his gear on.

Tammy took the kids to Costco in the morning, so we had a nice warm chicken pot pie for lunch and some apple pie for dessert. Mmmm… energy.

So the painting was done before dinner, but then Tammy washed the hardwood, and then we started moving everything back. It took until 8:30 to do it. The room sure looks different now.

So, I’m exhausted. My back is trying to seize up. And it’s Monday tomorrow.
