Morning Derailment

You may have seen it in the news already, but one of our c-trains overshot the tracks at the far end of Tuscany Station this morning.
Both Ian and I noticed a traffic chopper circling around Tuscany while we were waiting for his school bus and we were wondering why. I thought maybe someone was lost or had escaped, but I realized once I had reached the station that it was about the train. They still don’t know what happened. Luckily only 3 people were aboard. It was just at the start of the morning commute and it could’ve been a lot worse.
I came home on the 3 o’clock train and we all had to get off at Crowfoot and get on another train to get to Tuscany. Prior to that there had been shuttles. The station is still closed on the westbound lane and the traffic moving toward Cochrane was bumper-to-bumper. I can only imagine the commute home for drivers will be even more of a nightmare.
