That’s Miranda and me this morning. It was time for the Mazda’s 96,000 km service, which was going to take two and a half hours. So rather than just kick around the dealership and the surrounding stores, I threw our bikes in the car and we dropped off the car and went for a cycle tour. First destination was up Cook Street to Clover Point.

Then we continued on to Beacon Hill Park.

Then it was up to the Mile 0 sign at the end of Douglas Street.

And then the breakwater.

We circled back to Beacon Hill Park so Miranda could play until Mazda called.

Then lunch at McDonalds and off to karate.

  1. Well, that was a full day! Looks like y’all had fun! [I’ve been reading a book that took place in the south! How did Ian’s bike camp go?

  2. Well, he didn’t do as well/learn as quickly as Miranda did when she took it. (Mind you she was a bit older and that could make a difference.) But he did manage to do some solo riding in the very last 1/2 hour of the camp. 😀 With a little practice he’ll get it. The teacher said he just needed confidence; he had all the skills.
