Happy 6th Birthday, Ian!

Six years ago at 8:40 am, we welcomed a little red-haired ball of energy into our family. Today he is six, and is really excited that today is his birthday. I’m surprised he’s still sleeping. Normally he’s up by now. In fact, I got up specifically to see if he wanted to play while the girls were still sleeping. We’re having the neighbours over for a birthday barbecue at suppertime. Not sure what else is on the schedule. There are presents to open, of course. Our dinosaur trip starts on Tuesday.

Smart money says he’ll ask us to watch the Great Mouse Detective with him… 😉

Happy Birthday, Mr. Man!

His present from Nana and Grandpa was a big hit. The seven cars and little bits have been built, but Big “Bentley” has yet to start.

The Nerf-style suction cup gun has gotten a lot of play, especially by the girls before and after supper.

His birthday cake. He requested a cake with chocolate icing and strawberries on top. Tammy also made the cake strawberry.

  2. Happy Birthday Ian! We’ll be thinking about you and will sing Happy Birthday to you at supper! I hope you have a great day. We sent you a card through Daddy’s email address. We’ll talk to you a little later this morning. Love, kisses and hugs from Nana and Grandpa

  3. Got the card, thanks Mom! Thanks to everybody for the birthday wishes for Ian. He’s busy building Lego cars right now.

  4. You realize that is supposed to be yummy? Father does the hunt and peck method of typing. He’s right though – the cake does look jummy! Ha! Ha!
