Preparing to Sign Up For Summer Camps

Today we had Sepideh and Ilia over.  Sepideh puts Ilia into summer camps every year and we wanted her expert advice on how to do that.  YMCA, SAIT, and the U of C all offer summer camps for kids of all ages.  Unfortunately, SAIT if already full with waitlists. I haven’t looked into YMCA, but I’m sure they’re almost full (based on my experience last year).  The U of C doesn’t open registration until Monday morning and by Tuesday all will be full and on waitlists.  I’m not sure how we’re going to go about actually registering the kids and who will do it.  This planning also forced us to make our coming to Victoria summer plans too.  Stay tuned for further updates.

  1. Registration is done. Total bill for the summer will be $3715… Let’s face it: for the seven weeks of summer, Tammy’s pay will just barely pay for the kids’ camps. Such is the price for working.

On the bright side, the registration process went very well. I did it online, and got all of the camps that we wanted. There was a bit of a foulup when I registered Ian for two camps in one week, but I’ll get than straightened out later today or this week.
