The bedroom is moving towards completion. Today, I’m all recovered from my exhausting bike ride home yesterday. I didn’t do any painting last night, but tonight we managed to cut in and then paint the walls. It’s difficult lighting, with a grey twilight outside and the trouble light throwing a bright light on.
After painting, I ducked out to Home Depot. I got a call today because there was some sort of confusion about the type of crown moulding I had ordered. They tried to ask me over the phone which one I wanted. I said I would drop by this evening to straighten it out. A good thing I did, because the one they thought I wanted was totally wrong. I will probably have to go back tomorrow again to pay the difference. The guy I was talking to wasn’t the guy who could change the order, but he noted the right part number.

The second and final coat is on now. The delivery of trim doesn’t arrive until Saturday morning, but my brain keeps coming up with things I can do in the meantime to get ahead.
