Hello from Vancouver

Just a quick post to say that I am in Vancouver, but already on my way home again. I spent the day with he folks at E-Comm 911, reviewing the use patterns for the software that I have been working with them on since 2007. It’s in preparation for an eventual migration and rewrite which will likely happen in 2016.

I flew into Vancouver last night, and stayed over at the Fairmont Hotel. It wasn’t bad. The bed was comfy, and they had a nice charging station for plugging in devices, but the walls were somewhat thinner than I would have liked. There was a woman in the room next to mine who evidently had a 5:30 meeting on the telephone. I was going to get up soon, but it was annoying and would have been very much more so if I had been there for a vacation.

  1. I know what you mean about thin walls. I don’t know why they don’t spend the extra few dollars for insulation and have more satisfied, repeat customers.

  2. I’m sure we could feel your presence in the astral continuum!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! That will get you wondering if I have flipped my switch!!
I would imagine the hotel is too old to be viable for that kind of update. Can you imagine what the property must be worth??
I hope you had a good trip home. Love, Mom & Dad
