It’s a quiet time around here, it seems. Not a lot to post about. Miranda’s had her second violin lesson, but she hasn’t played a note yet. Her teacher, Mariah, has been working with Miranda teaching her how to hold the violin and bow properly, and how to go from a “waiting” position (with violin under arm) to “playing” position. I think our Miranda is a bit impatient about that.

Tammy was a bit under the weather yesterday, and still has a lingering headache today. Nothing major. She’s building her Lego set with Ian’s help now. As part of her Christmas money, she bought the “Berlin” Lego Architecture set.

Still getting used to not having cable TV. Weekends and watching sports was a semi-regular combination for me. The new internet setup is working well. I just reconfigured our old hotspot as a roaming extension of the wireless network. Until now, the only hotspot was the Shaw cable modem in the basement. There were times that the signal in the bonus room (above the garage) was weak. We’ll see if the signal in the bonus room is now back to where it was previously.
