This evening was the start of more swimming lessons for Ian. Β He expressed his skill in swimming wasn’t very good, so I signed him up for forty-five minute lessons twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, at Shouldice Aquatic Centre. It was the closest pool to us that still had lessons available. There are about eight kids in his class. tonight they worked on getting used to being in the deep end, bobbing under water, and kick swimming on their backs. I didn’t get any pics of him in the pool with all the privacy/safety measures in place. Instead I took one after. It’s a busy place! There had to be at least eight different classes happening at once and parents everywhere.

  1. I took Ian for his second lesson last night. He was doing very well. Treading water, doing a side-roll into the pool, a side-kick with and without a floatation dumbbell and a front crawl with the floatation dumbbells. He was doing a good job of paying attention as well.
The pool is pretty crowded. Not many empty seats for parents, and the change room was crowded as well.
