Well, it was sunny in Calgary too, but it was lovely at Nakiska this morning. Probably about five degrees below zero, no wind, and sunny. We got an early start, leaving before 8:00 am with the goal of getting to the slopes for opening. The snow was a little crunchy, with it being so warm this past week, but there were no big icy patches to worry about.
And for the first time, we took advantage of our tube park passes, which we added to our family ski pass this year. Everybody loved it. You took the magic carpet most of the way up.
And then down you go!
