Happy Easter

It’s Easter Sunday, and it snowed last night.

We were up and the kids searched for eggs. They found them all, and there was an additional discovery: Ian found the iPad mini! It had been missing since after Christmas and its battery was evidently dead, since we couldn’t contact it via Find my IPhone. It was under the couch the whole time.

The next step was to get ready for a trip to Nakiska and skiing, but that got vetoed at the breakfast table. Silly me: I made the suggestion that we spend the day watching movies about people who died and then were resurrected… you know, like Spock and E.T.

So now we’ve watched Wrath of Khan and The Search for Spock. Later might be E.T., we’ll have to see. I hopped on my bike and rode during the movies. I covered 73 km and went up over the mountain twice in Zwift. So I got my exercise anyways.

We Skyped with Colin and Carol, who are in Mexico. The ham will be in the oven soon. Dessert is an Easter cake that Tammy baked and we decorated.
