I’m now on day seven of cold symptoms. They started on the last day of Tech Trek, Thursday last. It was a headache, sore throat and tiredness. These continued into Friday and the weekend. I felt great when I was out and doing something like the BCC ride on Sunday, but when I would stop then I would feel out of sorts. It moved into my nose on Monday, and now on Wednesday it’s making its presence known in my chest. Yesterday my voice was low but I managed to run a couple of meetings. Today is a non-starter and I had to cancel a meeting because I couldn’t talk.
It’s been a while since I was sick. I can’t really complain. And so far the rest of the family is symptom-free.
