Well our load of bricks has just arrived. Simon and the Slegg workers are out there unloading right now. I thought they’d never arrive, since Evan’s were dropped off by 8:30 yesterday. I guess that’s what you get for living in Sooke.
On another note, we’ll be having the Norris over this afternoon-eve for supper. By the looks of the sky, we’ll be b-b-qing in the rain. We’re going to have chicken and/or beef burgers, potato salad, and chips with pickles and assorted condiments. Dessert will be home-made macaroons, or some raspberry swirl loaf (not home-made). It’ll be good to have them over. It has been awhile (almost 2 months) since M got to play with Z. It’s always so pitiful to see her playing by herself, or with Mr. Doos. Maybe the big kids get a chance to play some Playstation games. It’ll depend on how the little kids are feeling.
Well we did get rained out. Simon was out there bbq-ing with an umbrella, but it all turned out tasty and cooked. We didn’t get a chance to play any games. The big kids were a little too tired. Maybe next week we can get together over there and play. It was still a great visit.
