For weather, that is.
Last night the Gorge, Langford, and Colwood had their first snowfall of the season. By the looks of the road sides, they got a fair amount. We out in Sooke; however, just got buckets of rain and huge gale force winds. It always happens that we move to a location that doesn’t get the snow. Poop! It snows all around, but we seem to be under a huge glass dome that shields us from snow. According to TWN, there’s still on-and-off snow or snow/rain mix in the forecast for the next few weeks, but I doubt we’ll see anything but rain here.
The shield followed me to Nova Scotia, too. They’re having above-normal temperatures and nice weather for this time of year. Yesterday, one of our clients mentioned that he couldn’t remember a November without snow except for this year.
