Rainy Day at the Museum

Today my Russian lesson was cancelled, and so Katya, Miranda, Jeff and I went to the Royal B.C. Museum while Tammy conducted her lesson with Sveta and Gena. We had fun, and were there from roughly 10 am to 12 am. There was a new interactive display about mating animals (courtship stuff only… ;-)) which was entertaining to the girls in as much as there were buttons to push that caused sounds and lights.

We went through all of the usual exhibits, except the undersea one, which they are tearing apart to make into a new undersea exhibit. Miranda liked the dioramas, and I had to hold on so that she didn’t run out into the one with the beach.

Afterwards, I got Jeff to drop Miranda and me off at the Mayfair Mall, where we met up with Tammy for lunch. We looked about and then went to the Hillside Mall and found a new comforter for our bed. The malls were just crazy with people: it was grey and rainy today. I guess people wanted to go out and be indoors.
