Tonight the family gathered at Mom and Dad’s for a nice ham dinner. There wasn’t really a purpose for it: it had just been a while since we’d all been together. It all went well, and dinner was great. Miranda and Zachary got to play with balloons after dinner, which is always a hit. I ate too much, as usual. I never learn! 😮
I’d say something profound about it being Remembrance Day today and all, but I can’t think of anything. Our friend Jeff as a representative of our local Member of Parliament had to lay a wreath at Langford’s cenotaph. Seems that the weather held out for him: the rain started in the afternoon.
