Man, it’s an ungodly hour. But that’s what happens when you get yourself on the ol’ “there’s just a couple more things to do” treadmill. 🙂 For all intents and purposes, welcome to the new ii webserver. I imagine you’ll notice it being somewhat snappier, although that’s subject to congestion on the Shaw network.

Note that the DVD Application is new. I’ve tested it, but there may be a hiccup or two. It also is only guaranteed to work in Firefox now. Good thing I installed Firefox on Mom and Dad’s PC’s. 😉 I’ll be adding some more functionality to it in the near future, but for now it does everything the old one did.

I’m off to get some sleep.

Updated

Well, I’ve put a few more hours’ work in, and things are looking up. In fact, I think I’ve got everything squared away, including the other websites I’m hosting. The biggest bear was the forum for Survivor’s Edge. The crawl is working, and I’ve actually shut down Apache on the old server.

  1. I like the comments, etc. along the top instead of the bottom. I know the new DVD looks and works great. 🙂

  2. I don’t know about you guys but it is showing up on my compter all broken up. The menu is just a blank blue thing. Is there a glitch or is it my server? Not bad so far though!

  3. I called her up: it was the fact that she was using IE6. I have some script that runs to fix the layout for IE6 users when they load a page. The new layout doesn’t have the same structure internally, so the script was failing. It’s fixed now.

  4. So, what you’re saying is that I’m an old dinosaur??? Ha ha 😛 Anyway, it looks fine now.
