This was our second year of cooking hot dogs for the kids of Pender Island.
We had popcorn, hot dogs, hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and the kids got a goody bag full of treats from the firemen.
There was a bonfire made from old pallets and we watched the full moon rising.
Here are some photos, the decorations were done by the fire fighters.

I really like the bat thing swooping down.
How many kids turned out?
Yikes! Imagine meeting a fireman like that one in the second picture!!! It’s great to see all the different pumpkin carvings. I don’t suppose there is a lot of door-to-door trick or treating with the housing far apart. How late does the evening go on?
Not sure of the count but lots of kids. Not as busy as last year and the weather was good, the night was warm and no rain.
