I’m a little late with posting this, but that’s the way it goes. 🙂 Our friend Cindy who we last saw back in 2010 when she visited Sooke is in Calgary visiting her brother who also lives here. We were lucky that she had the time to visit with us on Saturday and she invited Tammy to join in on a “girls’ night out” on Saturday night.
We had lunch and then afterwards headed to the Bowmont Natural Area along the Bow River for a walk and sightseeing. Here’s one of the kids:
As you can see the weather was threatening so we didn’t stay too long before it started raining. Here’s a selfie that Cindy took with Tammy and I:
When the weather hit, we changed plans and went to the Crossiron Mills mall for a while, before it was time to return home so that Tammy and Cindy could get ready. The plan was to go to the Aussie Rules Piano Bar. They did so, until about 11 when I picked Tammy up. There was food and dancing and drinking. Here’s a picture of Tammy and Cindy and (?) at the club.
Meanwhile, the kids and I went to Dairy Queen in Dalhousie, and looked around Chapters before heading home. We bought The Lego Movie off of iTunes and had a good time watching that and some Scooby Doo before it was time to go pick Tammy up.
