Bonus Room Painted (Save Accent Wall)

Notes to self:

• That bloody room is bigger and harder to paint than it looks.
• Painting “deep” colours sucks royally. Trying to get a dark(er) colour to cover the primer evenly is almost psychosis-inducing.

So most of the room is painted. We are going to paint the south wall the same clay beige as the hall as a light-coloured accent wall. It was a guess that by leaving that wall a light colour, it would make the room seem even bigger, and I think it has worked out. It’s just primer at the moment.

But the big victory is…

I didn’t make any mistakes with the roller hitting the ceiling.

The lines are all crisp. Get the beige wall done, then it’s trim-cutting time.
