Happy Thanksgiving!

We’ve just finished devouring our turkey and trimmings.

Now we’re in the middle of watching “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”, possibly one of the finest Thanksgiving movies ever. To me, it’s even more poignant, having been there, to some extent.

It was a windy day today, but fairly nice. I did go out for my club ride this morning, and Tammy got busy while I was gone. By the time I got back home, the pumpkin pie was finishing up and the turkey was about to go in the oven.

She even took the time to finish sewing Miranda’s robe. The last bit had to be done by hand.

At Miranda’s insistence, we got dressed up for dinner. And since we were dressed up, we took a new family photo.

PS. I think Tammy did her hair “up” so that she’d look taller than Miranda…
